CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary Are you tired of being away from your family and are skilled at towing? We are looking for a CDL driver to make our landscape company more efficient. You will be responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from jobsites. Being able to load and unload equipment as well as the ability to operate a skid steer to load and unload pallets of material are required. We have paid holidays and weekends off. There is plenty of available overtime during our busy season. Duties Operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of freight. Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Qualifications Proven experience in truck driving, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience operating dump trucks and trailers is a plus. Ability to operate a skid steers and other equipment safely for loading and unloading purposes. Strong understanding of route driving principles and freight handling procedures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients effectively. A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies regarding transportation.
