CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. Must live within reasonable commuting distance to Conneaut Lake. Be able to drive manual transmissions and have a couple years of driving experience with a clean driving record. We currently haul lumber, logs, and wood chips. this is a Monday -Friday, home every evening. Competitive, incentive based weekly pay ( not $1.00 as stated above). Duties Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, . Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. When needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing truck driving operations. Skills Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong knowledge of truck driving techniques and safety protocols. Experience with flatbeds Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring the safety of the load. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
