We search for a Class A Driver to deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, usually over intercity routes. Load and unload cargo. Record amount and type of freight being produced.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Be able to lift occasionally, carry, push-pull, or/and carry 30-50 pounds repeatedly while loading/unloading product.
• Be able to climb on and off a truck.
• Be able to sit for extended periods, reach, squat, pull, push and walk.
• Complies with all known laws that apply to commercial vehicle operation.
• Operates the commercial vehicle on the roadways with safety at all times.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Can communicate effectively in English.
• Ensures the trailer is loaded and on time for the expected route times set.
• Must have 7-day open availability, flexibility to work weekends
• Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must know how to operate a Manual transmission truck.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Good knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and mandates.
• Valid medical card as prescribed by Federal Motor Carrier Administration.
• Valid Class A commercial drivers' license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 0•1 year of commercial driving.

Skills and Abilities:

• Good time management, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential for this job.
• Basic math and computer skills. Qualifications (Education/Certification):
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass both pre-employment and random drug screens.
• Enrolled in Clearinghouse.
• Cleared through our insurance carrier.
• Must pass a background check.
