Job Description
JOB TITLE
CDL Class A DriverDEPARTMENT
PML- Logistics
LOCATION
Amarillo, TX PAY:
Starting pay- $21/hr
BENEFITS

Our CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting and unloading material at our retail store locations and other customer job locations. Overnight as needed.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport materials from our manufacturing facility to retail and customer locations. Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions. Assist in the loading/unloading of freight. Secure cargo on truck Overnight stays at hotels or in truck sleeper as needed. Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate effectively with manager, dispatcher, customers, team membersQUALIFICATIONS
CDL Class A License required. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and maps. Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs convictions within the last ten (10) years. No preventable accidents- while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No preventable
- DOT recordable accidents (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) years. No preventable accidents
- resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history (commercial motor vehicle).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to sit and drive for long periods of time. Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl, climb, push, pull. Required to reach with hands and use arms to climb and balance. Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Frequently required to talk and hear. Frequently work near moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather). While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Must be able to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
