CDL Class A Driver / Yard Hustler Switcher Driver

Position Summary:

We are looking to hire a full-time

CDL CLASS A

driver who are responsible for moving trailers & chassis to and from repair yards..

DUTIES:

Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truck. Ensure that trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading. Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and report any issues to management. Assist with loading and unloading of trailers & chassis as needed. Maintain a clean and organized yard. Follow company procedures. Ensure a safe work environment. Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity. Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy. Communicate with other yard personnel and management to ensure efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a yard truck or similar equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Minimum age 25 Must have a valid CDL Class A driver's license and acceptable driving record Desire to have a career path in Fleet and/or Maintenance Management.
