CDL class A ............OTR/regional local driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road/Regional or local), Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network! In this role, you will operate mainly van trailer loads to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. We do have some flatbed loads available to those with experience. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including automatic transmission trucks, open-top trailers, flatbeds, Conestoga trailers, and specialized equipment such as electric forklift when necessary. Plan and execute route driving efficiently for OTR, regional, or local deliveries, optimizing delivery schedules. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and delivery records for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Handle and secure various types of freight with professionalism and care. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in operating automatic transmission trucks Strong knowledge of route planning for regional or local deliveries to maximize efficiency.
