CDL Class A Transport Driver

Ferrari Lake Forest is looking for a Transportation Driver to provide great customer service and join us in our ultra-luxury dealership environment and deliver an unreasonable level of hospitality to our clients and guests. Our Transportation Drivers are the face of Ferrari Lake Forest for our remote service customers and thus have a great impact on our organization and our success. Vehicle transportation will be your primary focus, but we will expect customer service functions as well, including feature demonstration and being our in-person ambassador for Ferrari Lake Forest. Essential Duties Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial vehicles. Use good judgment and safe driving skills. Driver must plan and follow route, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading and must ensure cargo is safely secured. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections, and report any accidents or incidents that occur while driving. Drivers must be able to make quick decisions in emergency situations, including inclement weather, traffic delays, or mechanical failures. Notifying logistics manager of any servicing the vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance. (minor repairs and routine maintenance completed by operator) Maintains a professional appearance. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for freight transport. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction excellence. Candidates should be committed to professional driving standards and capable of managing the responsibilities associated with commercial transportation. Physical Demands & Work Environment Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Must be able to use repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to enter and exit large vehicles. Must be able to drive for several hours per day. Must be able to work in extremely low or high temperatures. Regional travel involving overnight stays frequently (Lodging provided), Typically 1-2 nights a week. Education and/or Experience Will train the right candidate.
