CDL Class A Truck Driver

Pay:

$355 per day Job Summary This is a weekend-only position, with work required on Saturdays and Sundays. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trailers, including doubles, to transport freight to designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to manage routes efficiently. You will be operating a brand new 2025 Volvo truck, providing a modern and well-maintained driving experience. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods. Drive assigned routes while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of logs, hours driven, and cargo transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a must. Doubles endorsement required; doubles experience preferred (training available). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
