Job Description

Job Summary:
As a CDL Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport construction materials, equipment, and other loads to and from job sites while supporting daily operations. This role is responsible for operating commercial vehicles in compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations, completing required inspections and documentation, and helping ensure timely deliveries, jobsite safety, and excellent service.t Essential Responsibilities Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures. Drives a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering. Load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance. Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing. Frequently walk on uneven ground on construction job sites with gravel, mud, etc. Be able to climb in and out of dump truck multiple times a day with a cab approximately 3-5 feet off the ground Tarp loads which may require pulling, reaching, and overhead movement. Securing goods may be required through strapping or other methods. Walk around truck unassisted to inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy. Drive in all conditions in accordance with federal regulations, normally in periods of driving within hours-of-service limitations, followed by an off-duty period as required by regulatory requirements. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle. Education and Experience:
Clean Class A or B Commercial Driver's license and DOT physical card Two years of prior driving commercial trucks preferred. Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen Able to read and write legibly Able to comply with company policy on controlled substances and alcohol Strong customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
