CDL Class A or B Driver Industrial Cleaning (Vac Truck Operations)
Pay:
$28.00-$33.00 per hour (based on experience)

This Is a Hands‑On Industrial Cleaning Role This position is not a drive‑only CDL role . Drivers in this position actively perform industrial cleaning, labor, and environmental services in addition to operating CDL vehicles. Candidates must be willing and able to work with vac trucks on mill and industrial sites, perform physical labor, and participate in cleanup operations . Why Join EnviroServe? What You'll Do As a CDL Driver Industrial Cleaning , you will split your time between driving and hands‑on field work , including: Operate CDL Class A or B vehicles (vac trucks, tankers, roll‑offs) to support industrial cleaning operations Perform industrial cleaning using vac trucks at mills, plants, and industrial facilities Conduct tank cleaning, waste removal, sludge handling, and manual remediation services Perform physical labor including sweeping, shoveling, hose handling, high‑pressure washing, and equipment setup Enter confined spaces such as tanks, pits, and vaults (with training and PPE) Respond to emergency and time‑critical incidents including spills, releases, and environmental events Safely handle, package, load, unload, and transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste Operate industrial equipment including vac trucks, jet machines, water blasters, pumps, air movers, and hotsys Hook and unhook hoses, open and close valves, and operate winch systems Complete pre‑trip inspections and routine maintenance using Geotab™ and WhipAround™ Verify manifests, shipping documents, labels, and drum counts for all jobs Complete daily timesheets, JHAs, confined space permits, and spill reports Serve as a crew lead or customer point of contact on smaller jobs when assigned Support warehouse operations, equipment staging, and facility maintenance as needed Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site‑specific safety plans Training & Advancement Hands‑on training in industrial cleaning and vac truck operations Confined space entry, lockout/tagout, PPE selection, and chemical compatibility training Advanced equipment operation including automated tank cleaning and jetting systems Opportunities to grow into senior driver, lead technician, or project support roles Required Qualifications Valid Class A or B CDL Manual transmission experience required Tanker and Air Brake endorsements (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass DOT physical, drug & alcohol screening, background check, and company insurance requirements

‑Hour certification (or ability to obtain) Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Physically able to wear PPE and lift 50+ lbs routinely Willingness to perform manual labor daily , not just driving Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays High School Diploma or GED preferred Working Conditions Outdoor industrial work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) Driving and equipment operation in all weather conditions Occasional off‑pavement driving with tankers and roll‑offs Ability to apply tire chains when required Willingness to work in confined spaces, at heights, and occasionally from boats Must be dependable, safety‑focused, and comfortable working independently or with a team
