Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Gravel Trains Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized gravel train trucks to transport bulk materials efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your commitment to safety and reliability, will ensure the smooth delivery of materials to construction sites, quarries, and other destinations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to project success and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate gravel train trucks, including tractor-trailers equipped for hauling bulk gravel and aggregate Drive route-driven schedules, adhering strictly to delivery timelines and traffic regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues Follow all safety protocols related to driving, load securing, and working around heavy equipment Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tractor-trailer operation, including manual transmission experience Proven truck driving experience, particularly with freight transport involving flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or dump trucks Familiarity with load & unload procedures for bulk materials using forklifts or roll-off trucks Experience in route driving within construction or industrial environments is highly desirable Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and material handling Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and operational efficiency Join us in delivering essential materials with energy and precision!
