Great opportunity with lots of potential for growth. Yard/job is located out of Tualatin and we service bins primarily along the I-5 Corridor. We are looking for a highly experienced roll-off truck driver. Class B minimum. You would have multiple years experience in a similar driving position. Ideal candidate would have previous experience with roll-off trucks of any style. Great opportunity to get in with a small local company. Need to have previous experience with tight city routes, roll-off, or garbage routes, etc. We deliver to very tight residential areas and you will need to have the ability to maneuver and handle the truck in tight turns or when delivering/picking up dumpsters in customer driveways without causing damage. Sizes range from 10 yd concrete/dirt dumpsters to 40 yard sizes. Need to have an insurable driving record, a valid Class A/B driver's license, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening. Typical hours would be starting around 5:30 - 7 am with some change depedning on workload. Total hours are typically 40-50 hours available per week. Available split schedules, overtime, weekends etc. Dispatch and routes are run with a couple of tablet/phone apps, a good comfort level with technology, texting, phone interactions is necessary as dispatching will be done remotely. One weekend day is usually needed each week, or choose to have a split schedule with 2 days off in the middle of the week. The position is full-time, local home every night, with the opportunity for overtime. 32/HR+ DOE. Position is open for immediate hire.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1.

Knowledge of Portland, Vancouver, and the general I-5 corridor/surrounding areas. 2. EXPERT truck driving skills 3. CDL Class B with valid medical card (Class A is a plus) 4. Clean DOT Drug Test and MVR. 5. Willingness to follow many specific and detailed instructions. 6. Reliable phone service and highly effective communication skills (Will be interracting with customers directly and frequently) 7. Willingness to drive across town many times a day, to addresses all over the area, in all traffic conditions, sometimes for extended periods of 2+ hrs at a time depending on delivery/pickup location 8. Always on time for work, clean and dressed appropriately 9. Good physical abilities (Sometimes shoveling material from inside dumpster if any gets stuck when dumping 10. Speak and understand English (Bi-Lingual a strong plus) 11. High level of ownership in your job, and good customer service skills - Take care and look after truck day-to-day without damaging equipment or customer property and be able to perform pre-trips 12. Good understanding of heavy duty trucks to be able to diagnose and notice problems as they come up mechanically
