CDL Trash Truck Operator

Job Summary Join our team as a CDL Trash Truck Operator and take charge of safely and efficiently collecting, transporting, and disposing of waste materials. In this energetic role, you will operate various heavy-duty trucks—rear loader, ensure our community stays clean and environmentally responsible. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks such as rear loader to collect and transport waste materials. Load and unload waste containers using manual lifting techniques or mechanical equipment like cart tippers. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections on all vehicles to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance. Drive within designated routes adhering to traffic laws and company policies while maintaining punctuality. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary to secure loads or manage waste containers. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any operational issues promptly. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with delivery or waste collection vehicles. Mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks including basic troubleshooting skills. Experience operating rear loader trucks or similar equipment preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload operations.
