CDL Truck Driver / Equipment Operation / Labor

Job Overview Class A CDL required. Primarily Dump Truck driving to deliver rock products and support construction projects. Also some flatbed, lowboy, driving. All local routes; home every night. Additional tasks are diverse and may include basic vehicle maintenance, manual labor, equipment operation, grade checking, pipe laying, etc. Experience in earthwork & utility construction preferred. Equipment service & maintenance skills preferred. This could be an entry level laborer position for the right candidate; but experience is preferred. Year-round employment. Approximately 40-60 hours per week. Duties Operate various types of vehicles including construction equipment, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle used for transportation. Assist in the inspection of equipment and vehicles before and after use to ensure safety compliance. Laborer to shovel, rake, haul supplies on various excavation jobs. Experience Previous experience in construction is preferred. Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers is required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong physical stamina to handle the demands.
