(Levittown, PA) seeks multiple CDL Truck Drivers to drive long-distance a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Specific duties include:

driving year-round, as directed by employer, including winter months all routes assigned by the employer; driving routes regardless of weather or difficulty on roads in the US where semi-trucks may be driven legally; driving equipment provided by employer regardless of age or type of equipment provided; helping load and unload the cargo; securing cargo in trailer; inspecting, identifying issues and repairing mechanical issues which can be repaired by a driver without using a mechanic shop, such as lights, filters, air lines, changing batteries, and checking electric lines; report vehicle issues to the dispatch or maintenance team; plan routes and schedules; meet delivery deadlines, communicate with dispatch and customers; adhere to hours of service (HOS) regulations; maintain accurate records (e.g., logbook, fuel receipts); comply with weight and size limits; communicate with customers about delivery status; handle customer complaints or issues; manage time effectively to meet schedules and minimize delays and downtime; collaborate with dispatch, other drivers, and warehouse staff. Position requires 100% of domestic travel within continental U.S. Must have CDL.

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position in transportation industry. Specific experience must include each of the following: 1) backing up and maneuvering in tight spaces with a tractor-trailer combination, 2) experience driving in the mountains and snowy roads.
