Cemetery Groundskeeper City of Harvard Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty, safety, and integrity of our cemetery grounds. Duties Maintain landscaped areas through mowing, trimming Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and hand tools for routine grounds maintenance Perform weed control Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify and address issues related to landscaping or safety hazards Qualifications Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Familiarity with basic lawn care practices Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Excellent communication skills and a respectful attitude toward visitors and colleagues Join us in maintaining a peaceful environment that honors those who have passed while fostering community pride!
