Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Childcare to lead and elevate our early childhood education programs. This pivotal role involves shaping strategic initiatives, overseeing daily operations, and fostering an enriching environment where young learners thrive. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to creating a nurturing space that promotes growth, curiosity, and development for preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance preschool curriculum, programs, and overall educational quality Manage the preschool's operational activities, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of teaching staff to ensure high standards of early childhood education Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and educational stakeholders to support student success Oversee compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and accreditation requirements Monitor program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and social-emotional development among children Requirements Proven experience in education administration within early childhood or preschool settings Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams Expertise in strategic planning and budgeting to optimize program growth and sustainability Background in university-level teaching or related academic experience preferred Knowledge of management practices specific to preschool operations and compliance standards Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence and child development principles Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trustful relationships with families, staff, and community partners
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:
