Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Center Director/Curriculum Coach is responsible for overseeing the educational and operational aspects of the learning center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves strategic planning, staff management, and curriculum development to enhance the educational experience and meet the center's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve educational and operational objectives. Oversee the creation, adaptation, and evaluation of curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and student needs. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in educational delivery. Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, students, and the community to promote the center's mission and programs. Conduct regular staff training and professional development to enhance instructional quality and staff performance. Analyze data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in educational practices and center operations. Serve as a liaison between the center and external stakeholders, including educational authorities and partner organizations.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership or management within a childcare or educational setting. Proven track record of developing and implementing curriculum programs that enhance learning outcomes. Experience in coaching and mentoring educators to improve teaching practices and curriculum delivery. Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to childcare and educational programs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators and staff. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Ability to design and evaluate curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children and aligns with educational standards. Proficiency in using educational technology and software to support curriculum development and implementation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making and improve educational outcomes.
