Certified Automotive Technician

West Michigan Transmissions, Inc. is looking for MI state certified and or ASE certified Automotive Technicians to join our team in Wyoming, MI.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Technician is responsible for the test driving, diagnosis and repair of vehicles within the scope of the job. The Technician will use diagnostic equipment and test parts to ensure proper repair of vehicles.

Compensation:

$20.00 TO $50.00

Education:

ASE or Michigan mechanic certification or trainee permit in Automatic Transmission, Manual Transmission and Axles, Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Engine Performance, valid drivers license and tools required. Knowledge of Automotive Diagnostics and Repair. A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in the automotive service industry is preferred. Friendly, team player who can work well with others in a positive, productive environment. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills are required.
