As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and support in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. Your commitment to delivering compassionate care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior. Conduct vital sign checks and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Support individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care through tailored activities and behavior management strategies. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space, ensuring a safe environment. Utilize Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices as needed to aid mobility. Document care provided using EMR systems to ensure accurate record-keeping. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, long-term care, or home & community care is preferred. Familiarity with assisted living environments, memory care practices, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating reliability and professionalism. Must possess a valid driver's license if transportation is required for client appointments.
