Superior Manor of Festus is Hiring Certified Dietary Manager! A Dietary Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the residents receive nutritious, safe, and enjoyable meals.
Their responsibilities typically include:
Menu Planning :
Developing and overseeing menus that meet the dietary needs of residents, considering factors like medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences.
Nutritional Assessment :
Working with dietitians and healthcare providers to assess residents' nutritional needs and adjust meal plans accordingly.
Staff Management :
Supervising kitchen staff, including cooks and dietary aides, to ensure efficient meal preparation and adherence to food safety regulations.
Regulatory Compliance :
Ensuring that all food handling and preparation practices comply with health and safety regulations, including state and federal guidelines.
Budget Management :
Managing the food budget, including ordering supplies, controlling food costs, and reducing waste.
Resident Interaction :
Engaging with residents to gather feedback on meals and address any dietary concerns or preferences.
Training and Development :
Providing ongoing training for staff on food safety, dietary requirements, and kitchen procedures.
Record Keeping :
