Responsibilities:

Manage the dietary department, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies Develop and implement effective food service plans, tailored to the unique needs of each patient Supervise and mentor a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring nutritional needs are met Maintain accurate records, including patient dietary histories, menus, and inventory management

Requirements:

Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) Must have experience in a healthcare setting (LTC), with a strong understanding of dietary management principles and practices Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage staff and collaborate with healthcare professionals Proficiency in technical software and electronic systems, including menu planning, inventory management, and nutrition analysis software
