  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinic environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform basic life support and emergency medical procedures as needed. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates. Provide medical administrative support by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling billing inquiries. Conduct outpatient care tasks, including preparing patients for examination and assisting with follow-up care. Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize coding knowledge for accurate documentation of patient visits and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient education regarding health conditions and treatments. Skills Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Proficient in basic life support techniques. Experience in medical administrative support functions. Familiarity with coding practices relevant to outpatient services. Knowledge of working within a Level I Trauma Center or emergency medicine setting is preferred. Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs. Understanding of clinic operations and workflow processes. Solid foundation in anatomy knowledge to effectively assist patients and providers.
