In-Person | Outpatient Multi-Specialty Practice Join Our Growing Healthcare Team Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our expanding healthcare team at our Hudson location. This position plays an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting providers in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care across multiple specialties including internal medicine, dermatology, chronic care management, and preventive healthcare. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliation Administer medications and injections as directed Prepare patients for in-office procedures Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) Schedule appointments and assist with patient communications and follow-up care Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and physician instructions Collaborate effectively with providers, other team members, and administrative staff Follow all infection control, OSHA, and patient safety guidelines Support efficient patient flow and provide excellent customer service Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program required Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Familiarity with ICD coding and electronic health records Experience with eClinicalWorks, Phreesia and/or Calvient preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Benefits Eligible employees may receive: 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Why Join Us?
