Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Correctional Healthcare Position Overview We are seeking dependable Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to support correctional healthcare operations by administering medications and assisting nursing staff within secure correctional facilities. Current CMA Openings Palestine Huntsville Compensation $25/hr Regular $37.50/hr Overtime Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications under supervision Maintain accurate medication records Observe and report inmate/patient reactions to medications Assist nursing staff with patient care tasks Maintain medication inventory and security Monitor vital signs as assigned Ensure compliance with correctional healthcare regulations Qualifications Current Texas CMA certification Current BLS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of medication aide experience preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work in secure correctional settings Preferred Experience Long-term care Skilled nursing Correctional healthcare Behavioral health environments
