Must speak Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
Back Office Duties:
Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary accurately and in a timely manner Perform basic clinical procedures (e.g., injections, EKGs, phlebotomy) Maintain and stock exam rooms Sterilize instruments before and after each patient visit in a manner consistent with OSHA standards Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies •Please note: MA will cover Front Office duties exclusively while our current Office Assistant goes on maternity leave beginning August 2025.
Front Office Duties:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner Schedule appointments and manage provider calendar Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries Verify insurance and collect co-pays Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system Produce and distribute correspondence letters, faxes and forms Complete Prior Authorizations Ensure that all messages are reviewed before the end of the day for proper handling Assist provider as needed
Requirements:
Proficiency in English and Spanish Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
