Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by sharing your expertise in speech and language services! This contract position supports students across elementary, middle, and high school settings, allowing you to deliver therapy and interventions to children and adolescents with diverse developmental needs. You'll collaborate with a committed team of educators and specialists, ensuring every student has the support needed for effective learning and communication.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification as required by state and/or national standards Experience working within school environments (elementary, middle, and/or high school settings) Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring Proficiency in a variety of assessment and therapy techniques to address communication disorders Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to diverse student populations and collaborate across disciplines
Core Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students as identified through IEPs Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to determine student needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for goal setting and progress Work closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support each student's communication skills in academic and social settings Maintain clear and compliant documentation for all services rendered This contract role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise is valued and celebrated.
