Certified Nurse Assistant - Same Day Surgery

Status:

Full Time Schedule:

4 days a week 0600-1630 or 5 days a week 0600-1500

Location:

Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center - 1000 Medical Center Dr., Hardeeville, South Carolina 29927 What You'll Do Empties and records data from Foley catheters and surgical drains. Measures and records vital signs. Performs tasks like checking blood sugar or prepping the skin area if required. Maintains a clean and safe environment, changes bed linens, and disposes of waste. Answers call lights and reports any significant patient changes to the RN.

What We're Looking For Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

One year preferred.

Assisted Living facilities only:

One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required

Licensure/certification/registration:

Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.

Additional skills preferred:
