Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your dedication to patient care makes a meaningful difference every day. In this vital role, you'll provide essential support to patients across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your hands-on assistance will promote comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals of all ages and needs. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate medical documentation Support patient care plans by providing emotional support and companionship to individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia or behavioral health conditions Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to ensure safety during mobility procedures Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established protocols and HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient information and care activities Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers), long-term care facilities, or home health environments Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting with Hoyer lifts and assisting with patient transfers safely Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care that transforms lives.
