West Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation & Green Houses is an 130 bed long term care and rehabilitation facility. We are reopening another Green House very soon and recruiting to hire staff to our team. We are also excited to have a few positions available at our Legacy building, as we are expanding our care team due to our large census growth. We are actively seeking caring, dedicated, and loving individuals to join our family of staff and elders. The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned elders with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Education required:

The Certified Nursing Assistant must hold an active Missouri Nursing Assistant Certificate or have completed Certified Nursing Assistant training in preparation for taking state certification testing.

Wage and benefits include:

West Vue proudly offers very competitive wages based on years of experience between $16.50-$26.40 per hour. West Vue offers shift differentials. Benefit packages including life insurance, health insurance, vision/dental insurance, and 401K. Annual employee performance evaluations with up to 4% increase in wage. Duties include but are not limited to: Creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and nurturing environment. Assisting residents with daily care Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, ambulation, toileting, eating, and all other ADLs and Restorative Nursing Care as specified in the resident's plan of care. Maintaining accurate documentation on the resident's electronic health record. Assisting with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. Weighing and measure residents as instructed. Answering resident call lights. Accurately collecting and recording resident vitals. Assisting with the care of the end of life resident. Serving meals and light kitchen duties. Assisting with Activities. Working conditions include but are not limited to: Working throughout the nursing service area. Working beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, in other positions, and in call-back situations when necessary. Bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Coping with the mental and emotional stress of the position relating to working with the ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset residents. Working independently and self directed.
