Job Description

Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Alice, Texas Join a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and families in the Alice, Texas area. We are seeking a caring and dependable Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of hospice patients through compassionate, hands-on care. Position Summary The Hospice CNA provides personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in their homes, facilities, and other care settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role plays a vital part in helping patients maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral care Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living Observe and report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Follow infection control and safety procedures Participate as part of the interdisciplinary hospice team Help create a calm, supportive, and respectful environment for patients and families Qualifications Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Hospice, home health, or healthcare experience preferred Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills Ability to work independently and manage travel between patient visits Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current CPR certification preferred Benefits Competitive pay Mileage reimbursement Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company match Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Why Join Us?
