Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA who will work with one family. The client is an elderly female who suffers from Dementia. She lives with her family. She loves gospel music from the 60s and loves to dance in her chair. Her nieces and nephew care for her. She loves her family. The days are Monday through Friday 7 hours of personal care per day plus 1 additional hour of companion care. A total of 8 hours a day. A typical day is from 7:30a to 3:30p . . Responsibilities Provide personal care services such as stand by assisting as she is in a wheelchair Encourage client to eat and take medications Monitor skin condition Assist with nutritional meal prep Help bathing Maintain a clean and safe environment following hygiene and safety protocols. Provide companionship to enhance emotional well-being Experience Previous experience in home care is required . Experience with Alzheimer and Dementia is required . Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the family. The candidate will be professional and respectful while in the home. CNA required. Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
