We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Adult Day Program team in Hallsville, Missouri. This is a rewarding daytime position where you will build meaningful relationships while helping individuals work toward their Day Habilitation and ISP goals in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. What You'll Love About Working With Us Starting at $20/hour Additional $2/hour attendance bonus after 30 days of employment Monday-Friday Day Schedule Supportive Team Environment Paid Training & Ongoing Support Opportunities for Growth Position Overview The Day Program CNA provides hands-on support and care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured day program setting. This role focuses on promoting independence, participation, safety, and overall well-being through daily support, skill-building activities, and community engagement. As part of our Day Program team, you will assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care needs, recreational activities, mobility support, and social interaction while helping create a positive and encouraging environment each day. You will work closely with the Program Director, DSPs, supervisors, and other team members to ensure high-quality care and individualized support for every participant. Key Responsibilities Assist participants with activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, feeding, mobility support, repositioning, and personal care Support individuals in building independence and daily life skills Assist with Day Hab goals, ISP goals, and skill-building activities Support participants during recreational, social, and therapeutic activities Transport individuals safely in agency vehicles for community outings and activities Monitor participant comfort, safety, health, and well-being throughout the day Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and dietary support as directed Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe program environment Document participant progress and care provided according to agency policy Follow care plans, infection control procedures, and company policies Build positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with participants Treat all individuals with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect Qualifications Current Missouri CNA certification required Previous experience working in healthcare, long-term care, or day program services preferred but not required Must be dependable, patient, caring, and team-oriented Ability to assist with transfers, mobility support, and personal care tasks Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required Must be able to obtain a Class E license within 14 days of hire Valid vehicle insurance required Must pass required background screenings or obtain an exception letter Why Join Show-Me Community Services?
