Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical skills, demonstrate empathy, and be committed to enhancing the well-being of patients. As a CNA, you will work closely with nursing staff and healthcare teams to deliver vital support in patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across diverse care environments. Fairview Care Center is owned by Dodge County. Days (6am-2:30pm) 56 hours per pay period. Evenings (2pm-10:30pm) 72 hours per pay period. We are also hiring on-call positions for all shifts. Starting Rate $22.50 (+Experience) (+$1.00 Evening/$1.50 NOC Shift Differential) Under limited supervision, performs a variety of paraprofessional nursing duties so that the physical and medical needs of the residents are met; performs related work as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Addresses the immediate physical needs of facility residents so those facility goals for long- term care are upheld, by bathing, toileting, and feeding, positioning, exercising and dressing residents. 2. Protects residents so that resident safety needs are met by implementing standard safety procedures, preventing self-injury, and preventing residents from unauthorized leave of the facility premises. Coordinates the development of a written plan of care (preliminary and comprehensive) for each resident that identifies the problems/needs of the resident, including care to be given, goals to be achieved, and professional responsibility for each element of care. 3. Encourages residents so that independence and self-care objectives are met by persuading residents to attend to their personal needs of dressing, feeding, toileting and bathing.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Abides by principles and procedures of nursing assistance as prescribed by facility-policy and supervising personnel. Practical human relations as it relates to nursing assistance. Commitment to the Work Group, Commitment to Customer Service, Effective communication, Productivity and Work Organization.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be on Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Must complete a MN Department of Human Services Criminal Background Check and be certified by the Department as employable as a Nursing Home Employee.
