Nursing Assistant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide essential support to patients and nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a safe and comfortable environment. This role is crucial in assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Assist with medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records. Support nursing staff in urgent care situations as needed. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and needs. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand patient needs. Experience working with children or in pediatrics is preferred. Proficient in medical documentation practices to maintain accurate records. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while respecting individual needs. Familiarity with healthcare systems and protocols for effective communication. Experience in urgent care settings is a plus.
