Qualifications Required Education/Certification/Licensure:

High school graduate or equivalent is desired. Completion of Certified Nursing Aide(Texas) program is required. Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to obtain as required by regulation prior to start of work.

Training and Experience:

One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long term care nursing assistant is preferred.

Job Knowledge:

Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills. Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
