Job Description
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network has an immediate need for a full time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at our East Greenville outpatient site.
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate would have experience working with the pediatric population in an outpatient setting. This individual would be part of an interdisciplinary team.HOURS:
Varies, as needed, some evening availability preferred Monday - FridayESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
IDENTIFIESPATIENT REHABILITATION CARE REQUIREMENTS
By assessing patient condition upon order of physician and at regular intervals during assigned shiftPLANS, IMPLEMENTS AND EVALUATES REHABILITATIVE CARE
By setting goals, collaborating and communicating with health-care team, patients and familiesPROVIDES INFORMATION TO PATIENTS AND HEALTHCARE TEAM
By meeting themMONITORS DELIVERY OF CARE
By completing patient roundsASSURES QUALITY OF CARE
By fostering practices that adhere to the hospital's philosophy, goals and standards of care; measuring outcomes against patient care goals and standardsPROTECTS SELF, CO-WORKERS, AND PATIENTS
By interpreting and implementing policies and procedures to prevent the spread of blood borne and/or airborne diseasesRESPECTS PATIENTS
By recognizing their rightsMAINTAINS SAFE AND CLEAN WORKING ENVIRONMENT
By complying with procedures, rules and regulationsENSURES OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT
