Job Description

Delaware NeuroRehab is a fun, fast-paced, physician-led interdisciplinary outpatient clinic specializing in concussion, neurological rehabilitation, vestibular disorders, and acquired brain injuries. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is excited to grow with an expanding neurological rehabilitation team and make a meaningful impact in patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric populations, including involvement in our growing pediatric vision therapy program. We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with children and enjoys creating a positive, engaging experience for pediatric patients and families. This role will primarily support our Dover and Lewes locations. What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy treatment interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient neurological rehabilitation setting Assist with functional skill development, sensory integration, vestibular rehabilitation, autonomic rehabilitation, and visual rehabilitation programs Participate in pediatric vision therapy treatment activities and support patients with visual-motor, perceptual, and oculomotor deficits Learn and utilize innovative treatment techniques and technologies related to concussion and brain injury rehabilitation Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including Physiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, and Neuro-Optometry providers Support a positive, patient-centered environment for both adult and pediatric patients and their families Answer patient and caregiver questions in person and by phone in a professional and compassionate manner Maintain timely and accurate documentation and complete all patient-care-related responsibilities daily What We're Looking For Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Delaware (or eligibility) Interest in neurological rehabilitation, concussion care, and vision therapy Interest in working with pediatric patients and families Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative outpatient environment Why Delaware NeuroRehab?
