Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00
PM No Weekends or Holidays Territory:
Piqua, Sidney, Tipp City, Troy, Vandalia, Minster, Fletcher, Saint Paris, Quincy, Casstown, North Hampton, New Carlisle, Enon, Medway, Springfield, South Charleston, South Vienna, Mechanicsburg, Woodstock, North Lewisburg, Cable, Urbana, and West Liberty Agency:
Kettering Home Care Position Overview As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), you'll provide compassionate, home-based therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and attending physician. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary care team focused on helping patients improve independence, restore function, and achieve positive health outcomes in the comfort of their homes. This role offers the opportunity to support patients throughout every stage of recovery while gaining valuable insight into how therapy impacts daily living in real-world environments. What We Offer $10,000 sign-on bonus Guaranteed base hourly rate Generous uncapped bonus structure Mileage reimbursement Additional bonus opportunities Flexible scheduling Dedicated support team for scheduling and patient admissions Competitive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (eligible teammates) 401(k) participation Company-paid life insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Treatment Provide skilled occupational therapy services as ordered by the attending physician Follow treatment plans and goals established by the Occupational Therapist Observe, assess, and monitor patient conditions Notify the Occupational Therapist of any changes in patient status Assist patients in improving functional abilities and independence Patient & Family Education Educate patients and families on: Disease and injury management Occupational therapy techniques and goals Home safety and supportive activities Proper use of assistive devices such as: Wheelchairs Walkers Braces Crutches Canes Prosthetic/orthotic devices Documentation & Compliance Complete all clinical documentation accurately and on time Follow agency protocols and Medicare/Federal guidelines Maintain compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and regulations Communicate scheduling or availability changes to supervisors and schedulers Team & Operations Collaborate with physicians, therapists, patients, and families Attend mandatory meetings and in-service training sessions Support coordinated, team-based patient care Skills & Attributes Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Patient, dependable, and team-oriented Detail-oriented and observant Ability to follow clinical direction and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of employment Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in an acute care setting required Home health experience preferred Valid driver's license and active auto insurance in employee's name Ability to meet physical demands of the role About the Organization Proudly part of the Alternate Solutions Health Network family.
