Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) , you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve independence and participate in daily activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting patients with exercises, activities, and therapies to improve mobility, strength, and cognitive function Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the occupational therapist Providing patient education and training on activities of daily living (ADLs) Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with transfers and ambulation
