Warsaw, IN Position Type:
Full Time Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional therapy services to our residents, promoting independence, and improving quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to residents in alignment with established standards, company procedures, and productivity guidelines, as directed by the OT. Conduct resident screenings at regular intervals to assess the need for intervention or treatment, as permitted by state practice laws and company policies. Collaborate with the OT to assist in developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each resident. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and communicate resident progress to the OT and interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Commitment to ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and certification requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
