Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate medication management, and providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your pharmacy career while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with medication intake, verifying prescriptions against medical records and ensuring proper documentation. Support patient care activities by providing medication information and answering patient inquiries with professionalism and clarity. Submit and manage pharmacy insurance claims for prescription medications. Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of medications according to safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate medication administration and ensure timely delivery for critical care patients. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred not required. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration and procedures Proven ability to provide excellent patient service while maintaining accuracy in medication handling. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Off weekends! Off holidays!
Expected hours:
40.0 per week
