Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques for sterile preparations. Assist with medication intake, verification, and inventory management to ensure stock levels meet patient needs. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes. Support critical care and acute care units by understanding medical terminology and hospital protocols to facilitate seamless medication delivery. Maintain precise documentation of medication dispensing, patient records, and pharmacy logs in compliance with regulatory standards. Follow strict techniques in the preparation of compounding after training and observation period. Qualifications Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program or board. Proven experience working as a pharmacy technician. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and pharmacy operations. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient service with compassionate communication skills. Familiarity with medication safety protocols, intake procedures, compounding and vaccine administration. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
