We are a local tax and accounting firm based in Wallingford, Connecticut for over 30 years, dedicated to providing high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and small businesses. We pride ourselves on personalized client relationships and a collaborative team environment.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in tax preparation and accounting, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Perform accounting and tax preparation, including financial statement preparation
  • Assist clients with IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+years of experience in public accounting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
