We are seeking a certified, motivated and highly-experienced service technician in auto repair ranging from sedans to SUVs.

SUMMARY:

An Automotive Technician is largely responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. Automotive Technicians may have the following duties and responsibilities: Repair brake and steering systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling. Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations. Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed. Possess a valid state driver's license for conducting test drives.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience as a Service Technician or Automotive Technician. An understanding of and ability to use diagnostic equipment and a willingness to continue training and certifications is also useful. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, involves frequent standing, frequent walking, light to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), light carrying, frequent bending, reaching, and stooping. Specific physical conditions require frequent work with chemicals, tools, machinery, moving mechanical parts, and risk of electrical shock. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position working typically 8 hours per shift but must have the ability to work past normal shift times as needed based on production and staffing needs. No travel is expected for this position.
