Certified Surgical Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures. This position requires a thorough understanding of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques. Duties Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during operations. Ensure all necessary equipment is available and functioning prior to surgery. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Conduct thorough cleaning and sterilization of instruments post-surgery. Analyze situations quickly to respond effectively to any complications that may arise during surgery. Requirements Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control measures. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent analytical skills to assess situations quickly and accurately. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in surgical technology.
