Responsibilities:

Assists with patient transfer/transportation. Inventories, orders, and restocks supplies. Assists in maintenance, care, and cleanliness of surgical supplies, equipment, and surgical suite. Maintains an adequate inventory of patient and unit supplies and stores these appropriately. Exchanges information about patient care issues or unit operations with Registered Nurse, Nursing Assistant, Nurse Manager, and ancillary departments. Assists in executing efficient turnover time between procedures. Charges for supplies and equipment. Demonstrates responsibility for cost containment and conservation of supplies and equipment.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, either 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts. 6:30AM 3PM, 6:30AM-5PM, or 8:30AM-7PM. Must also be available for off shifts/on-call shifts. Must be able to work weekends or holidays as needed. May be subject to work different days/shifts based on hospital needs.
