7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an OB/GYN Surgical Services assignment. This role supports perioperative patient care in a high-acuity surgical environment and assists surgeons, nurses, and perioperative teams during obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical technologist experience, excellent sterile technique, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room setting. Previous OB/Labor & Delivery surgical experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for OB/GYN surgical procedures Set up sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and surgical supplies Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical cases Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs to support efficient workflow Handle and prepare surgical specimens for laboratory processing Ensure proper operation and readiness of surgical equipment Support circulating nurses with intraoperative responsibilities Maintain accurate surgical counts for instruments, sharps, and sponges Assist with patient positioning and safe transfers to and from the operating room Follow all infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital protocols Participate in OR turnover and room preparation between surgical procedures Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Current Surgical Technologist Certification through:
AST OR NBSTSA
