JOB DUTIES INCLUDE...ENGAGE PAW'S COLLABORATIVE PROCESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT OPERATIONAL

GUIDELINES...Attend individual Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative Team.

Track progress through Core Training, and track issues and accomplishments as they ariseProvide feedback on guidelines, processes and policies with intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness Attend departmental or All-Staff meetings

PERFORM PROCESS RELATED

DUTIES....Direct and concise communications with caregiversRecognize and respond accordingly to emotionally charged interactions with caregivers and/or staffUtilize practice management software for the creation of estimates, invoices, prescriptions, and certificates

SERVICE-MINDED

ACTIONS...Safe handling, movement, restraint and relocation of patientsMaintenance of all biosecurity, cleanliness, and isolation protocolsProficient sample acquisition, phlebotomy, laboratory & surgical practicesRead, interpret and assist with the implementation of written medical treatments

PRACTICE PATIENT RELATED

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

…Certified Veterinary Technician, 1+ year experience preferred but not requiredPart-Time or Full-Time options availableA high work ethic and positive attitude team memberAbility to arrive on-time and ready to workWeekend availability, 36 hours a week, 12 hour shiftsExceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate preciselyInterpret medical records and record client history accuratelyKnowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flowAbility to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe mannerProficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skinAbility to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and testsProficient in positioning and capturing radiographsA self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one's knowledge and skillsetAbility to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiencyAdditional Information

PAY RANGE

 $20 - $25/hr. Based on Experience | +Night Shift Premium...
