Job Description

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Brooksville, FL Three Oaks Veterinary Wellness Center Who We Are We are a growing small-animal practice focused on quality medicine, strong client relationships, and a team culture built on respect and accountability. We are continually working on improving our systems, workflow, and communication so our team can focus on patient care, not constant chaos. About the Role We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician who wants to be deeply involved in patient care and take pride in their work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys anesthesia, dentistry, nursing care, and client education, and who values being organized and thorough. You will work closely with our doctors and support staff to provide compassionate, attentive care from admission through discharge. Responsibilities Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Dental cleanings and dental radiographs Surgical preparation and nursing care Running in-house lab work and handling samples Radiology positioning and safety IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and medication administration Inpatient treatments and monitoring Clear and accurate medical record keeping Client communication at discharge and during visits Maintaining a clean, organized treatment and surgery area This is a hands-on technical role with real responsibility and trust. What We're Looking For Required Current CVT, LVT, or RVT credential (or eligible and actively pursuing) Solid anesthesia monitoring skills Confidence with restraint, catheter placement, and sample collection Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable speaking with clients in a clear and professional way You'll fit in well here if you are calm under pressure, team-oriented, and the type of person who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative.
